Questions about this service

Can you fix a chair that has had screws put through the legs?

Yes. We back out old modern screws, plug the enlarged holes with matching hardwood dowels, and rebuild the inner mortise joint correctly.

Do I need to bring all chairs or just the loose one?

Bring whatever is loose. If a set of six has two unstable chairs, we can assess the others to see if their glue lines are failing too.

How long must the chair rest before I can sit on it?

We cure clamps for a full day in our workshop. Once returned to you, it is ready for immediate dinner use.
