Freshposturedaily began on Forth Street out of frustration with disposable furniture habits and rapid handymen applying quick silicone fillers to historic furniture. Edinburgh homes are filled with Georgian, Victorian, and mid-century timber pieces that simply need skilled joinery care rather than replacement.

We set up our benches with traditional clamping jigs, cast iron hand planes, and natural finishing materials. We never rush glue cure times or apply plastic coats to disguise damaged timber. Every broken rail is remade using matched kiln-dried hardwood, and every frame is tested under square tension.

We keep our business straightforward. We give you a fixed quote before work starts, collect your items with our own team, and accept payment only after you have personally inspected the finished furniture in your home.
